Formfacade's file upload product replaces the Google Forms upload question with its own, so respondents upload without signing in. Files are stored on Formfacade's Google Cloud storage and synced to a Drive folder when the form is submitted. Plans run from $28 to $98 a month billed yearly; prices were checked on Formfacade's file upload pricing page on 12 October 2026.
How Formfacade file upload works
- 01You import an existing Google Form or create a new one in Formfacade.
- 02Formfacade serves its own version of the form, where the upload field accepts files without a Google sign-in.
- 03Uploaded files are kept in Formfacade's cloud storage, renamed, and synced to your Drive folder on submit.
- 04Responses still go to your Google Form and Sheet; you can integrate further with Apps Script or Zapier.

Where the two differ
- What you build. Formfacade enhances a Google Form, so it is the right tool when the form is the point and files are one field in it. Drive File Request is an upload page first, with optional questions asked before upload.
- Caps. Formfacade's cheapest file plan allows 100 responses a month, 100 MB per file, and 10 GB of its storage. Drive File Request has no monthly response cap and takes files up to 5 GB.
- Where files live. Formfacade stores uploads in its cloud and syncs them to Drive on submit. Drive File Request writes each file into your Drive as it uploads.
- Price. Formfacade file upload is $28 a month billed yearly or $56 monthly at the entry tier. Drive File Request is $10 a month flat, or $9 for seven days.
- Forms features. Formfacade can restyle the form, embed it, score answers, and look up Sheets data. Drive File Request does none of that.

Which one to pick
Pick Formfacade if you already run on Google Forms, the responses in Sheets are the main output, and you want the form to look like your site — with uploads as one question among many.
Pick Drive File Request if you only reached for Google Forms because you needed people to send files. A link with a few questions in front of the upload does the job without a response cap, takes larger files, and costs a fraction of Formfacade's file plans.
Why the Google Forms upload question needs sign-in in the first place is covered in Google Forms file upload requires a sign-in. Other Drive upload apps: DriveUploader, File Request Pro, cloudHQ File Request, or every comparison side by side.
